What materials do you use?

We tuft with high-quality wool and acrylic yarns, a sturdy cloth backing, and carpet-grade adhesive. Everything is chosen for durability and color vibrancy.
How do I clean my rug?

Yarnqueer rugs are durable and easy to care for: vacuum floor rugs regularly with a brush or beater-bar vacuum; spot clean spills promptly with a wool- or acrylic-safe cleaner (avoid bleach); for wall-hung pieces, dust with a duster or gently wipe with a damp microfiber cloth when needed. Due to the handmade nature of this item, it’s recommended not to put Yarnqueer rugs into the washing machine to ensure longevity
Do tufted rugs shed?

Yarnqueer rugs are tufted densely to ensure longevity. A loose fiber or two falling out is normal occasionally, and will not impact the longevity of the rug. You can use scissors to cut pulled fibers.
Is it pet-resistant?

We’ve had this rug 5+ years and it’s still good as new! And Ollie still scratches it every day!

2. Custom rugs & design
Do you take custom orders?

Yes! Custom work is my favorite. Send me your wild ideas, your sketches, or just a vibe filling this form, and we’ll make it happen.

Can I get one of your designs in a different size or color?

Often yes. If you see a rug you love but need it bigger, smaller, or in your favorite shade of green. Let’s talk!
How much does a custom rug cost?

Pricing depends on size, complexity, and materials. Once you share what you’re dreaming of, I’ll send a tailored quote. Pricing can range from $40 to $90 USD per square foot, depending on materials and complexity.
Can I try tufting?

Currently, we have our studio in our house and only offer 1:1 workshops. Please email for pricing.
Do I need to buy a rug pad?

Our floor rugs come with a non-slip backing. If you want to move a wall hanging to the floor, please be sure to use a non-slip pad for safety.

3. Shipping & turnaround time
How long does it take to make a rug?

Most rugs take 4–6 weeks from order to ship, depending on size and detail. We’ll give you an estimate when you order.
Can I rush an order?

If you need a rug by a certain date, reach out before ordering. Sometimes I can shuffle the studio schedule and make it happen for a rush fee.
What’s your return policy?

Each rug is made to order, so I can’t accept returns or exchanges. Please be sure before you buy.
