A more abstract self-portrait of an earlier time in the artist’s life, Uncertainty portrays a tulip figure fading into its background: hesitant, unsure, almost camouflaged. Yet a streak of neon yellow cuts through the muted tones, symbolizing the first spark of hope. It speaks to the tentative beginnings of a journey of queerness, bodies, and desire before full self-acceptance took root.
