Bloom (2025)
A celebration of one of natureโs boldest gestures:
the flower.
Iโve always been obsessed with flowers. No matter what Iโm working on, I always find myself returning to a reverence for mother nature. Flowers are nature's masterpiece โ all that intricate structure packed into an ephemeral shell of petals. A burst of energy designed to quite literally seed the next in line. Looking into my garden never fails to remind me what it feels like to be happy, warm, and alive.
This collection bloomed out of hours spent in gardens across the world with my husband. From the U.S. Botanic Garden in DC to the Chapultepec Forest in Mexico City, and especially the lush, radiant flora of Costa Rica. I wanted to capture the forms and feelings of flowers and reimagine them through the bold, joyful lens of Yarnqueer.
The result is Bloom: a series of vibrant, expressive rugs that bring floral energy into your space: soft and wild, colorful and queer, playful and alive.
Vitality (2024)
A limited collection exploring natureโs wild form and luminous presence.
This series grew out of quiet study โ long moments spent tracing the contours of Monstera leaves and other tropical plants, their slits and fenestrations forming patterns that seem to echo inward forever. Thereโs a rhythm to them, a kind of living geometry. Even before I bring in color, you can feel it. These rugs act as conduits: structured, pulsing, alive.
Vitality is my attempt to follow that rhythm. These pieces reject the rectangle and embrace negative space, fluid edges, and the beautifully uncontainable forms of nature. Theyโre soft sculptures of motion and light.
This collection was exhibited at the Somerville Museum in Spring 2024.
* Some pieces in the collection include UV-reactive fibers that shimmer under blacklight or violet Hue bulbs, revealing a hidden layer of color that flickers to life after dark.
Echoscapes (2024)
A meditative collection of colorful forms in motion that light up every room.
Echoscapes began as a way to keep my hands busy, a ritual of rhythm and repetition. Each piece starts with simple, untouching blobs that echo outward, bending and colliding into one another. Thereโs a set of quiet rules I follow, but Iโll break them when the piece calls for it. The result is a visual pulse: a soft chaos of form, balance, and intuition.
These shapes are a kind of wordless thought. Theyโre not planned or symbolic. They just are... weird, playful, alive. Making them is a way for me to connect with color without controlling it, to let feeling lead. Every blob is different, but together they sketch out a landscape of motion and mind.
Echoscapes is a reminder that not everything needs to make sense to matter. Sometimes weโre all just complicated blobs doing our best to ripple out.
BIG
Too fabulous to ignore.
A collection of playful, one-of-a-kind characters:ย some commissioned, some just for fun.
From oversized owls to fabulously aloof alpacas, these pieces donโt follow a theme so much as an energy. Many started as custom requests, while others just appeared in the studio one day: loud, weird, and ready to be loved.
Whether theyโre animals, creatures, or something in between, they all share one thing: big presence.
